As we enter the weekend it is important that we reflect and honor those that have served our country and committed the ultimate sacrifice.
For headlines, as it has for NFIB the last seven weeks, it is all minimum wage all the time.
The labor backed Fiscal Policy Institute teamed up with some big box stores to push for increasing the minimum wage. I am fairly certain that neither of these groups truly understand the precarious position “main street” New York is in right now. The New York Observer understands this. As does the Buffalo News.
And this really sums up what has been a relatively quieter week for Albany. When the legislature returns from the Memorial Day holiday, we will be in the sprint to the end of session.
