That notorious “Scaffold Law” was the topic of a letter to the editor in the Syracuse Post-Standard over the weekend. NFIB/NY fully supports and advocates for Senator Gallivan’s legislation that sensibly reforms this antiquated law.
As New York continues to work through the issue of allow natural gas development, areas of the state that are supportive of the process seem to be first line to get started. Although, the New York Post is accusing the Cuomo Administration of killing the potential of shale gas through continuous delays in the process. Let’s hope not.
Finally, former New York Governor David Paterson seems to be adding some new responsibilities.
